Leaving France, we've discovered the linguistic challenge of switching languages. Flash had an interesting moment yesterday in Ghent. He asked a lady in the tourist office - in German (?) - whether she spoke French. When she said no, he asked - in French - whether she spoke English (luckily she did).
Tonight we're in Brugges after enjoying a couple of days of waffles, Flemish architecture, praline, canals and hoardes of tourists.

Did you guys buy the banjo? I read once that Elvis shot to fame after being discovered playing the banjo in a Memphis bar. He too could also play Blowin' in the Wind and the Peter Gunn Theme.
Never mind the architecture- what about the chocolates and blonde beers?
Hey Mon, We just got your postcard - thanks! Looks spectacular on the post card wall :)
I found in Belgium that English was the best language to speak... And of course, try as many beers as possible!

Hi Adventurejo - lovely to hear from you! Glad things are moving in the right direction - light at the end of the tunnel at last! I'm dying to know what's happening with the other positions? Say hi to A and A for me and take care - Mon
